Yoga with Jodi
After several years of taking yoga inconsistently, I attended an Introduction series for beginners in 2014. It was my “light-bulb” moment, for the first time, yoga made sense to me.
I dove into my practice. I had a fire to do more, learn more, practice more. In 2017 I completed a Kid-Yoga teacher certification and began teaching yoga to 5-9 year olds. I love engaging the kids, teaching them how to find strength in their bodies, techniques to calm their minds, and tools to be mindful in a world full of stressors.
I was inspired to deepen my own practice. In early 2019 I completed an intensive teacher training to receive my 200-hr certification. As teacher and student, the more I practiced, the more I realized how much there is to learn. In July 2022, I completed an additional 300 hour training through the Jason Crandall Yoga Method. We can't possibly know all there is to know about this practice. From the original teachings and traditions, to the Yoga we know today, our practice is ever evolving.

Each class I teach is a comprehensive, full body flow, designed to build strength while increasing flexibility. My goal is to create an approachable, fun, and balanced, experience for any level of Yoga enthusiast. I encourage each student to hone their technique and alignment to honor what works their body. We move through our practice to facilitate consistency of breath, steadiness of mind, and a greater sense of awareness in the present moment.
